History, Evolution & Growth
ISNR Abu Dhabi was launched in 2008 and remains the key exhibition in the security events calendar.
Strong support from government has always been the major input of the show, thus the exhibition has developed a 48% increase in exhibitors participation during the second edition in 2010.
The 2010 edition also posted significant growth over 2008 in terms of gross space (17%), the number of exhibitors and co-exhibitors (48.2%), international exhibitors (33.3 %) number of participating countries (20 %), and visitors (15 %).
Public officials generally make up around half of the event’s attendees to reaffirm ISNR Abu Dhabi’s status as a major platform for decision makers to identify and evaluate the latest and best technologies, practices and expertise suited to their respective defense agendas.
Other factors such as market growth in the region had also effected show’s success
Regional Market Outlook
The security market in the Middle East region is entering a sustained growth phase with an increasing need being felt for sophisticated equipment to counter international terrorism, protect national borders and build disaster resilience.
